The deal
Terms
Plain words, no fine print. You bring a self-custody wallet; the contracts hold the money; the code is open and the experiment is young. These terms say what that costs you.
EFFECTIVE 2026-09-21
- 01
What this covers
These terms govern your use of Factory Ninja: the app at app.factory.ninja, the landing page, the Dōjō at https://dojo.factory.ninja, and the prototype subdomains under *.factory.ninja. Using any of them means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not connect a wallet.
- 02
Your keys, your funds
Factory Ninja never holds, routes or recovers your money. Every transaction is signed by your self-custody wallet and moves directly between you and the protocol contracts. Mission capital sits in the MissionCampaign escrow contract, and release() and refund() execute exactly as that contract's code specifies — no platform signature, no discretion, no overrides from us. If you lose your keys, your funds are lost; we cannot restore them.
- 03
No advice, no offering
Nothing here is investment, legal or tax advice, and no mission or mission token is an offer of securities or a solicitation to buy one. Missions fail; refunds only return what the escrow holds; a launched token can go to zero. You judge each mission yourself, and the consequences of that judgment are yours.
- 04
Software as-is
The protocol is open source under an MIT license. It is provided as-is, with no warranties of any kind: not of fitness, availability, correctness or non-infringement. The contracts are unaudited experimental software. Read the code and verify the addresses before you commit anything you would mind losing.
- 05
Testnet-first
Current deployments run on testnets. Expect resets, re-deploys, breaking changes and data loss without notice. Testnet assets have no value to recover. Do not treat anything here as production infrastructure yet.
- 06
Prototypes and content
A prototype at <slug>.factory.ninja belongs to the founder who deployed it — we host what was thrown, as it was thrown. We may take down content that is illegal or abusive. A prototype is a proof of work, not a product: do not hand it secrets, money or anything security-critical.
- 07
Conduct
Do not attack the services, spam the rate-limited APIs, or use the Dōjō to build unlawful or malicious things. We may block addresses that do, and on chain, everyone can already see who did what.
- 08
Fees
The protocol takes no platform fee — there is no fee address in the mission contracts, the factory or the locker. That is the design today; the deployed contract code is always the source of truth, not this page.
- 09
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Factory Ninja is not liable for lost funds, lost data, lost profits or anything else that breaks here or on-chain. The whole surface is an experiment you opted into with your own wallet.
- 10
Changes
We may update these terms; the new version is posted here with a new effective date. For money, the real terms are the contract code plus your signed Ninpō pledge — those cannot be edited by anyone, including us.
